Our modern equipment and dedicated workshops for carbon steel and stainless/alloy manufacturing allow us to deliver the highest quality vessels and columns.
Tools & Equipment
Our engineers are equipped with all the tools and machinery they need to carry out their trade; including rotators, positioners, plasma cutters, guillotine, bevellers, roll former, gantry cranes, test and measuring equipment.
We have a machine tool capability in-house which includes:
- Centre lathe
- Radial arm drills
- Pillar drills
- Hydraulic metal worker
When required we work with up to 5 local machine shops capable of flexible production: from mass produced small diameter non-ferrous components, to low volume, large diameter, thick flanges and forgings in ferrous and reactive metals.
The various applications and capabilities, include:
Alongside the CNC machines are modified machining centres for fast precision edge prepping of plates, with vertical and horizontal borers for producing large diameter girth flanges and intricate vessel internals.
Welding & Fabrication
Welding and fabrication are the core components of pressure vessel and column production. We have a large selection of welding machines and use the most appropriate process for each application. Our welding engineers are trained in:
- GTAW welding
- SAW and
- Tube end welding processes
We keep a library of welding procedures and qualifications for all these processes in a wide variety of metals and alloys. Processes are used individually and in combination to achieve specific weld parameters and tolerances.
