Vessco Engineering Ltd

Vessco uses its experience in pressure vessels manufacture to fabricate similarly sized complementary products.

Design & Engineering

With full time project design engineers and a network of design and consulting engineers to call upon, Vessco can undertake design and draughting work for virtually any pressure vessel or pressurised system. Specialist design services include finite element analysis, structural analysis, assesment of compliance to all the major international codes, thermal cyclical analysis, nozzle loads and so on.

Finglow provides us with a complete solution for vessel design, analysis and evaluation, allowing the design of equipment for the most extreme uses. It allows accurate definition of pressure boundary conditions for vessels. The graphical representation of analysis models helps ensure confidence in the input and results. Calculations can be performed in accordance with ASME Section VIII Divisions 1 & 2, PD 5500 and EN 13445. Other international codes are also catered for.

STAAD. Pro is a comprehensive and integrated finite element analysis and design package, capable of analyzing any structure exposed to static loading, a dynamic response, wind, earthquake, and moving loads.

SolidWorks delivers robust 3D drawing and design capabilities, allowing us to create parametric parts, assemblies, and production level drawings. It provides all the tools necessary to generate complex surfaces, sheet metal flat patterns, and structural weldments. AutoCAD is also used for 2D requirements and where this file type is a customer preference.

At the heart of all these activities lies our Document Control set up, providing critical support to the successful running of any contract. Vessco has developed its own in-house database for the submission and receipt of all submittals documents, accurately recording the status of any document at any time.
